Mary Liz won the 2011 Harrington award from BMI for outstanding creative achievement in musical theater for her work on her musical, THE GOOD GIRL. She has won two MAC awards, most recently in 2011 for "Christmas in Michigan, and also in 2004 for "Bacon."
She has performed solo shows of her original music at The Duplex, Don’t Tell Mama, and Danny’s, all in NYC, and at The Gardenia, in LA, and was particularly thrilled to have opened for the late, great, John Wallowitch in one of his last shows at Danny’s in NYC. Her songs are sung by theater and cabaret artists across the country, including absolutely bang-up versions of “Bacon” and "Christmas in Michigan" by the cabaret powerhouse Sharon McNight.
